2008/2009 Season Commencement
The Tuggeranong Little Athletics Association 2008/2009 season commences on 18th October 2008 from 9:00am – 12:30pm, at Kambah No 3 Oval, Kett St., Kambah.
Training commences on Wednesday 22nd October 2008 from 5:00pm - 6:00pm at Kambah No 3 Oval.

Tuggeranong Little Athletics will be accepting registraions on the 6th and 13th of September between 9.00am-12:30pm at Erindale Shopping Centre and Kambah No 3 Oval, Kett St Kambah
February 2008
Regional Championships
23rd, 24th February, Woden
While a major reason for holding the Regional Championships is as qualifiers for the ACTLAA Championships, this is not their sole purpose. They also provide one of the limited opportunities for ACT little athletes to be brought together in broader competition.
Each age group may enter a maximum of 8 competitors into each event. Each age group manager is to record competitors’ names on entry slips for each event and provide these through the marshals to the event chiefs.
The U6 to U9 age groups may enter up to 5 events, U10 to U14 age groups may enter up to 6 events and U15 to U17 up to 7 events.
These Carnivals require the largest amount of parent support.
January 2008
Joint comp with Weston Creek
On Friday the 11th of January from 5:30pm to 7:30pm Weston creek to run the comp at the Chapman Oval, Tauchert St Chapman (Probably a reduced program of 4 events). Comp shared by both WCLAC and TLAC athletes.
October 2007
Multievent Carnival
The first of the ACTLAA carnivals – the Multievent Carnival is on Sunday, November 4 at the AIS track, Bruce. It is an ideal opportunity for children of all age groups to participate at top class athletic facilities. There is no cost – we do ask parents whose children attend to assist as assistant officials for a couple of hours during the day – remember that LAs are run entirely by unpaid volunteers, the jobs are easy and depend on club assistance to enable carnivals to go ahead.

The multi-event competition is held on Sunday 5 November at the AIS and is open to all little athletes from U6 to the U17 age groups. The athletes perform in a number of events including running, throwing and jumping. They are awarded points for their performance in each event and at the end of the day these points are totalled to give an overall score. The younger age groups may participate in 4 events, whilst the older athletes may participate in 5 events. Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd best overall points scorers in each age group.

Tuggeranong Little Athletics has completed its two registration days for the forthcoming season (8 and 15 September). If you would like to register your child(ren) please contact Karel Havlat on 0403 472 309 - or altrnatively you can register at the club (Kambah #3) on Saturday 13th October, the first day of the 07-08 season, or any Saturday after that.
